Guides
Three guides explain Hibou in more depth: what a commerce bot is, when an order stays in WhatsApp, and why the webstore order waits until payment is confirmed. They describe the THREADLY deployment, which has been live since 22 June 2026.
What is a commerce bot?
A commerce bot takes the order inside the conversation. It collects what the customer wants, the details required to fulfil it, and the payment, then records the order in the store's system. Hibou does this on WhatsApp, and it syncs the paid order to the brand's webstore only after payment is confirmed. That webstore can be WooCommerce, Shopify, or another D2C webstore.

WhatsApp checkout and website checkout
WhatsApp checkout means the customer finishes the order in the chat: item, details, and payment link. Website checkout means the customer pays on the store's site. Hibou's live path on THREADLY is WhatsApp checkout for India. A UAE order on that same store is sent to the website.

Why payment comes before the order is synced
Hibou syncs the paid order to the brand's own webstore only after payment is confirmed. The chat can hold a design, a size, and an address before that. Those details become an order when the payment notification arrives. An unpaid chat does not create work for the team, and a repeated notification does not create a second order. The webstore can be WooCommerce, Shopify, or another D2C webstore.
