Why payment comes before the order is synced
Hibou syncs the paid order to the brand's own webstore only after payment is confirmed. The chat can hold a design, a size, and an address before that. Those details become an order when the payment notification arrives. An unpaid chat does not create work for the team, and a repeated notification does not create a second order. The webstore can be WooCommerce, Shopify, or another D2C webstore.
The sequence
The customer confirms the order in WhatsApp. Hibou sends a payment link. The customer pays on the provider's page. The provider notifies Hibou. Hibou syncs the order to the brand's webstore and tells the customer the payment is confirmed. On THREADLY that webstore is WooCommerce, and the link is Razorpay, PhonePe, or UPI.
Until that notification, the webstore has no order from this chat. The team is not asked to print, pack, or ship an unpaid request.
One payment, one order
Payment providers retry notifications, and some send more than one event for a single success. Hibou claims the order once. A second event for the same payment finds the order already recorded and does not open another one.
Money with nowhere to fulfil
If a payment arrives and the chat has neither a design nor a catalogue cart, Hibou does not invent an order to attach the money to. It records the event, tells the team, and tells the customer that the payment landed and a person will handle it. The bot then stays quiet on that chat so the team can sort it out.
The total on the link
The link charges the total from the store's pricing rules. Hibou is not allowed to compose a different total in the chat. If the rules cannot price the request, the agent does not guess a figure and does not send a link built on a guess.
What the customer is told
They are told the payment link, then they are told when the payment is confirmed and the order is in production. They are not told to pay on the website for an order the chat can already finish. On THREADLY that website exception is the UAE path, described in the checkout guide.
